I’ve put over 1,000 hours into Helldivers 2, and most of that time has been spent in Difficulty 10 Super Helldive runs with coordinated squads. At that level, the game stops being about survival and starts being about efficiency. Every loadout choice, every stratagem cooldown, every armor passive matters.
One thing I see newer competitive players struggle with is access to Warbonds, armor sets, and weapons that actually support the meta. The problem isn’t skill — it’s time. Super Credits are the gatekeeper, and grinding them manually can slow down your progression more than any mechanical mistake.
So let’s talk about what actually matters: when grinding is worth it, when it isn’t, and why many competitive players choose to skip the grind entirely.
Why Do Super Credits Matter for High-Level Play?
At lower difficulties, you can get away with almost anything. At Difficulty 10, you can’t. Your build directly affects extraction success.
